Worried about leaving work for the shot?
Governor Cuomo signed an executive order on March 12 granting employees up to 4 hours excused and paid leave per injection of the COVID-19 vaccine. This covers all public and private employees working in NY state and legislation became effective immediately. More details in my previous post.
Which vaccines are available?
There are currently 3 FDA-approved COVID-19 vaccines so you may get a different one when you go, but they’ll all great!
Pfizer-BioNTech (2 doses, ages 16+)
Moderna (2 doses, ages 18+)
Johnson & Johnson (1 dose, ages 18+)
