If you can relate to this convo, it’s time to add some activities to the mix!
I highly recommend setting up virtual game nights with friends!
Proud to say that I’ve had a weekly game night zoom since last Spring - it’s been awesome to actually have something to look forward to! Plus it’s a great way to get together and catch up regularly. Even better, sometimes we avoid chit chat and embrace the distraction!
Here’s some online games I recommend for groups:
Codewords (2 teams, free and simple virtual version of Codenames)
Skribbl (pictionary/hangman combo, better on computer than mobile)
Scattergories (have one person set it up and share their screen)
Jackbox.tv (wide variety of games, share your screen and host friends)
Check out: Quiplash, Drawful, Push the Button, Joke Boat, Fibbage…
Fantabulous (virtual Taboo)
Word Scatter (online Boggle)
Playing Cards (virtual checkers, chess, go fish, and more)
Virtual Bingo or Bingo Maker (Bingo game generators)
Most Likely to… (get to know your friends using these question lists)
Random Trvia Generator (get thinking with these varied trivia topics)
Charades - Idea Generator (stop talking and act it out!)
Don’t forget the apps!
Heads Up (funny guessing game, great in person or on video)
Psych (from the creators of “Heads Up”/also on Google Play)
Lots of free options along with add-on games that one friend can purchase and then host the game to share with others!
House Party (video + games!)
Also has a Fortnite mode to play that game as a team
Among Us (feel like getting out some COVID rage?)
GO…GET YOUR GAME ON!
